The Skidmore Wilhelm Model MZ new aluminum heavy duty lightweight unit is designed to test bolts from ½" to 1-1/4" English bolts and Metric sizes M12 to M36. This unit will test up to 126,000 lbs or 550Kn.
The main considerations when choosing the proper calibrator are first, the size of the bolt in diametre and length that you will be testing, and second, the type of bolt head (standard, heavy, hex or tension control) You will need to purchase a plate for each diametre of bolt you will be testing and a bushing for each diametre and each type.
