The Skidmore Wilhelm Model J Bolt Tester is designed for a larger range of small bolts (#10 to 1" and 5MM to 18MM) It is fitted with two gages to enable a larger range of testing.
The main considerations when choosing the proper calibrator are first, the size of the bolt in diametre and length that you will be testing, and second, the type of bolt head (standard, heavy, hex or tension control) You will need to purchase a plate for each diametre of bolt you will be testing and a bushing for each diametre and each type.
